A Lecturer/Research Scientist in the School of Pure & Applied Sciences, Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Biotechnology Biomedical at Kenyatta Universty specializing in immunology of infectious diseases. Her interests are in research and development of low-cost advanced diagnostics tools, new therapeutic strategies and improved vaccines for both veterinary and human medicine. She holds a BSc in (Zoology/Chemistry) and MSc Parasitology/Immunology from the University of Nairobi and a PhD in Biosciences (Immunology) from Brunel University UK.
